India to eliminate TB by Year End: JP Nadda

TNI Bureau: Union Health Minister JP Nadda declared at the 9th National Summit in Puri that India will eliminate tuberculosis by year-end, five years ahead of global targets.

Citing the ongoing 100-day TB Mukt Bharat campaign, Nadda said intensive efforts across 455 districts have already identified 5 lakh TB patients, promising a decisive end to the disease.
