India restrict England at 352/9 on Day 3

In reply to India’s first innings total of 457, England finished at 352/9 at stumps on Day 3 and still trailing by 105 runs. Joe Root and James Anderson have added an unbeaten 54 runs for the 10th wicket to frustrate the Indians towards the end.

For England, Sam Robson (59), Gary Ballance (71), Ian Bell (25) and Stuart Broad (47) were the top scorers. At close, Joe Root was batting on 78, while Anderson was on 23. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took four wickets, while Ishant Sharma took three wickets. Shami took two wickets.
