Govt Doctor lands in Vigilance Net in Odisha

Insight Bureau: Dr. Sukant Jena, Gynaec Specialist at Charichhak CHC near Konark, has been caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 8000 for conducting cesarean operation.

A vigilance raid at his residence unearthed Rs 1.12 cash from his house.  He was later arrested.

Other assets unearthed include:

1)Residential triple storeyed building at Patia,BBSR

2)1 plot at Jatni

3)1 Studio apartment in Puri

4) Insurance Deposits Rs.44,16,864/-

5) Bank DepositsRs.38.63 lakhs

6) 2 four wheelers(Hyundai Creta &TATA Manza)
