While normally Bollywood movies are released on Fridays, when it is Salman Khan, he prefers to release his mega movies on Eid, perhaps with a hope of blessings from Allah. But this time, he will have someone else to share the blessings as Sunny Deol also wants to release his upcoming film Anil Sharma directed ‘Singh Sahab the great’ on this festival of harmony and gratitude.
Sallu many have a neck-to-neck competition on August 8 when both the films will hit the theatre simultaneously. As per Sunny, since his film is based on a common man’s life and Eid is one of those festivals when the general mass enjoys happily, he wants to release the film on this occasion. Deol keeps high hopes for the film and seems to be confident for the drama and action sequences in the movie.
However, Sunny wants to release the film not for any competition, as he feels that the film will not collide with the expected film of Salman khan. As per his version, Indian film Industry has grown to a great extent with huge number of Cinema halls across the country and so releasing of two films in the same occasion will not hamper each other’s popularity and box-office collection. “The cinema business has changed. Since there are so many cinema halls, two big films can release at the same time. I am sure no one wants to take over anyone’s business” he said.
