TNI Bureau: Senior leader Dilip Ray on Sunday expressed deep gratitude after winning the election to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha. In a social media post prior to the announcement of the results, Ray said he was “deeply humbled and grateful” for the trust reposed in him by members of the Legislative Assembly.

He stated that the victory was not his alone but reflected the goodwill and confidence shown by legislators across political lines. Ray thanked the MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party for their steadfast support and also expressed gratitude to members of the Biju Janata Dal, the Indian National Congress, and independent legislators who extended their backing.

Describing the outcome as a reflection of the strength of democracy, Ray said such moments demonstrate how the larger interests of the people and the state can bring leaders together beyond party affiliations.

Accepting the responsibility with humility, Ray pledged to represent the aspirations of the people of Odisha in the Rajya Sabha and work sincerely for the progress of both the state and the nation.
