The protest was organised by the CJP over alleged NEET paper leaks, flaws in the education system, unemployment and other youth-related issues. According to eyewitnesses, Dipke was being carried on the shoulders of supporters when several youths approached and slapped him. His supporters immediately confronted the accused before police intervened and brought the situation under control.

Jaipur police identified the five arrested individuals as Rohit Sharma, Rakesh Gurjar, Ajay Sharma, Kuldip Singh and Niket. An investigation into the incident is underway.

Following the attack, Dipke said on social media that physical attacks would not deter his movement and reiterated his demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The CJP also alleged that the attackers were linked to the BJP, a claim that has not been independently verified.

Despite the disruption, the protest continued, with participants raising concerns over examination irregularities, corruption and unemployment. Dipke also announced that the party would continue its campaign and march to Delhi on June 20.
