TNI Bureau: Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi launched a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing education controversy and student protests, holding him responsible for the crisis and the unrest among students.
The criticism came shortly after PM Modi announced on his X account that the Government would set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and strict punishment for those involved in paper leak cases. The Prime Minister said protecting the future of the country’s youth was a top priority and warned that those responsible for harming students’ interests would not be spared.
Responding to the Prime Minister’s post, Rahul Gandhi accused Modi of failing to protect the interests of students and alleged that his government had weakened the education system while shielding those responsible for the crisis. He claimed that the future of the country’s youth had been harmed under the present system.
The Congress leader also reiterated the demands of protesting students, including the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, an apology to students and action against those responsible for the alleged assault on protesters.
Rahul Gandhi said students deserve justice and urged the Government to address their concerns without delay.
