CET organises National Workshop on Mobile Web Application

TNI Bureau: A-five-day National workshop on Mobile Web Application was organised by the department of Information Technology at College Of Engineering and Technology (CET) in Bhubaneswar. The programme started on February 5, will continue till Saturday.

The workshop was sponsored by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP)-II, which is a programme for transformation of the Technical Education System with the World Bank assistance.

The chief objective of the workshop, which will conclude on February 9, is to train the faculties and research scholars by improving their knowledge in current practice in IT and Communication Technology especially in the field of web service, web security, cloud computing and future of mobile applications.

Chief Guest Prof (Dr.) Prakash Kumar Hota, Principal of CET, presided over the inaugural session of the workshop. The CET is the only college to have been given such privilege to host the programme that will improve students’ skill.

The programme was attended by Guest of honour, Prof. (Dr.) Prashant Kumar Patra, Dr. Jibitesh Mishra, chairperson of the workshop, many dignitaries and over 70 participants from Engineering Colleges.
