Khushboo’s residence was attacked with stones. It is being believed that Khushboo, who is also a DMK member, had upset a section of her partymen by her comments on party’s next chief Stalin.

Recently, she had told a Tamil magazine about the appointment of DMK’s next chief. She had reportedly said that even though DMK chief M Karunanidhi expressed his desire to make Stalin as his political successor, the party will elect the president in a democratic way.

Khushboo made her statement in the pitch of MK Alagiri, Stalin’s brother, who also wants to be the DMK president. Recently, he had said, that the DMK was not a mutt where successors would be appointed.
