Gold prices opened a tad lower while that of silver inched higher in the key spot markets of the country on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

Sensex falls over 230 pts, nifty ends below 16,200

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 236 points or 0.43 per cent to close at 54,053, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 90 points or 0.55 per cent down to settle at 16,125.

Sensex falls 38 pts, Nifty ends at 16,215

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 38 points or 0.07 per cent to close at 54,289, while the broader NSE Nifty moved 51 points or 0.32 per cent down to settle at 16,215.

Sensex over 1500 pts, Nifty closes at 16,260

The S&P BSE Sensex jumped 1,534 points, or 2.91 per cent, to end at 54,326, while the Nifty50 shut shop at 16,266, up 457 points or 2.89 per cent.
