TNI Bureau: Metro Satellite City Welfare Society had organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 6.1.2013 in the Metro Satellite City premises with the active participation of the Blood Bank of Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Dr. S.K. Das and his team of Capital Hospital coordinated in the operation.
The event was solely sponsored by Indusind Bank Regional Head Office,Bhubaneswar.The lead was taken by Shri Deepta Bhanu Satpathy Regional Head of the Branch. M/s ESSAR Projects (India) Ltd were the co- supporters of the event.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Arabinda Dhali, Hon’ble MLA, Jaydev constituency & Govt Assurance Committee,Govt of Odisha.In his inaugural observations Dr.Dhali lauded the initiative of the Society and appreciated the efforts of the residents of the Metro Satellite City Phase I. He said, “Blood is life .The society is saving money, lives through the efforts”.
Dr.Dilip Kr Mishra, Secretary, Shri P.K.Roy, Treasurer, Shri Tapas Mohapatra, Executive body member and Shri Swarup Ranjan Das, Executive Body Member of the society put all efforts to make the Blood Donation Camp a grand success.
Ladies and Gents of the Society participated in the camp with much enthusiasm. In total, 53 units blood were collected.
