Bhubaneswar reports 1st COVID-19 +VE case since April 14

TNI Bureau: People in Bhubaneswar woke up to a bad news on Wednesday morning. While the BMC gave some relaxations last night on opening of Shops and Services, the Capital City recorded first CoronaVirus positive case since April 14.

The new case has been detected in Madhusudan Nagar, Bhubaneswar. A 77-year male (close relative of Case number 41) has tested positive.

In total, 2,421 samples were tested across Odisha on Tuesday. One has tested positive in Bhubaneswar. With this, the number of COVID-19 +VE cases in the Capital City has gone up to 47, while active cases rise to 20.
