TNI Bureau: In a shocking development, which exposed the flaw in our system, former MDLR airhostess Geetika Sharma’s mother has committed suicide six months after her daughter met with the same fate. Geetika had blamed former Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda in her suicide note.

Geetika’s mother Anuradha Sharma hanged herself at her Ashok Vihar residence in Delhi this afternoon. No suicide note has been found so far. Reasons of her suicide is not yet known, but some sources believe that it could be attributed to the mental agony she was going through.

Geetika Sharma, who was reportedly blackmailed and harassed by Gopal Kanda, had committed suicide on August 5, 2012. Kanda was later arrested and put behind the bars. If we believe the cops, Gopal Kanda tried to get Geetika back from Emirates Airlines with the motive of sexually exploiting her. A chargesheet has been filed against Kanda and Aruna Chaddha.
