Raj snubs Uddhav, Not to join Shiv Sena

Date:

TNI Bureau: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray ruled out the possible alliance with Shiv Sena for the upcoming 2014 general elections. He made it clear that there will be no merger with anyone.

Addressing at a public rally in Kolhapur on Tuesday, Raj said, “Whatever I do I will do on my own strength” ridiculing his cousin brother and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray’s interview.

He rejected Uddav’s offer for possible alliance for both the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. He suggested him not to discuss such issues in media.

Raj also slammed the state government for the proposed mid-sea memorial for Bal Thackeray saying it a ‘plot’ to divert public attention from important issues. He said that money could be spent on maintaining forts built by the king.
