After ‘Dabangg’, ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, this is the fourth hit at box office within 2 years.

‘Dabangg 2’ collected 21.10 cr on the release day Friday, Sat 19.06 cr, Sun 25 cr, Mon 12 cr, Tue 15.5 cr, Wed 8.12 cr. Now the total amount is Rs 100.78 cr nett in just six days. The collection can be called a huge success at the box office.

‘Dabangg 2’ is the sequel to the 2010 release Dabangg, which was set in a village in Uttar Pradesh. But the story of the sequel has shifted to a posh metropolitan city. Once again Chulbul Pandey has rocked the film and Salman-Sonakshi Sinha pair has been broadly accepted even though, the heroine has a small role in the film. She rules the heart of Chubul Pandey with her pretty looks. This time, she also shares a marital relationship with Salman.

The performance of Vinod Khanna could not be compared to anyone Prakash Raj has proved that he could be the best in negative role in Bollywood. The 1 hour 56 minute masala flick will simply entertain the audience. Those who have watched already have given their thumbs up. ‘Dabangg 2’ written by Dilip Shukla has been made under the banner of Arbaaz Khan Productions. This is Arbaaz’s first film as a director. The film released in over 3,500 screens across India on Dec 21.
