Sonali, Sumanth win ‘India’s Got Talent’ Show

TNI Bureau: The famous reality show, “India’s Got Talent” on Colors has got two young winners on the Season 4. The salsa kids, Maraju Sumanth (13) and Sonali Majumdar (7) from Bivash Dance Academy in Kolkata emerged as the winner at the grand finale on November 24. While Kolkata celebrated the victory, people in Odisha have reasons to smile too, as Sumanth hails from Odisha.

Sonali and Sumanth defeated Jharkhand-based trapeze artistes Mukesh and Tanya and Deepraj from Gangtok in the grand finale. They won a cash reward of Rs 50 lakh and an Alto 800 car. Mukesh & Tanya and Deepraj were handed over a prize of Rs 5 lakh each.

Sumanth’s father is a railway employee from Bhubaneswar, while Sonali hails from a modest farmer’s family in Bonga, a small village located on India-Bangladesh border.
