TNI Bureau: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was going strong on reality show Bigg Boss 6, had to leave the house after he received a SOS from BJP chief Nitin Gadkari to campaign in Gujarat Assembly polls.
Gadkari’s message was conveyed to Sidhu by his wife over phone. Since the party needed him to campaign for Narendra Modi in Gujarat, Sidhu decided to follow the directive and expressed his desire to quit the show. It is learnt that Modi wanted Sidhu as his star campaigner.
Since it was an exceptional case, Bigg Boss asked Sidhu to talk to all housemates and seek their opinion. After getting the consent from everyone, Sidhu left the Bigg Boss house.
Barring a few minor incidents, Navjot Singh Sidhu maintained good rapport with all housemates. He also treated everyone with care and respect and earned the same from all. He was considered as the strongest candidate to win Bigg Boss 6.
