TNI Bureau: As speculated earlier, cartoonist Aseem Trivedi was evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 6’ in the elimination round last night. According to Colors, Aseem got less votes as compared to Gulab Gang leader Sampat Lal and hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani. Earlier, model Karishma Kotak left the show after her father passed away.

However, it is believed that the Colors was forced to take the decision to evict Aseem Trivedi after the Republican Party of India (RPI) activists attacked the channel’s office in Mumbai in protest against his presence on the show.
Aseem Trivedi had courted controversy for depicting the Indian Parliament and Constitution in a satirical way. He was arrested on charges of sedition, but the Mumbai Police was forced to drop the sedition charges against after a huge uproar in media and public.
