Naveen Jindal – Highest Paid CEO in India

TNI Bureau: CMD of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL), Naveen Jindal has become the highest paid CEO in India for the second consecutive year. Jindal has earned Rs 73.42 crore in the 2011-12 fiscal – a rise of Rs 6 crore from the previous year.

Sun TV Network’s Kalanithi and Kavery Maran received Rs 57.01 crore each, while Hero MotoCorp’s Pawan Munjal got Rs 34.47 crore. Brijmohan Lall Munjal of the same company received Rs 34.44 crore.

The pay package includes salary, incentives, commissions and all other stuffs they received from the company.

Other CEOs who got good packages, included Madras Cements’ P R R Rajha (Rs 29.34 crore), Maruti Suzuki’s Shinzo Nakanishi (Rs 28.14 crore), BGR Energy’s BG Raghupaty (Rs 25.98 crore), Tata Motors’ former chief Carl-Peter Forster (Rs 23.97 crore), Divi’s Labs’ Murali K Divi (Rs 23.15 crore), Bharti Airtel’s Sunil Mittal (Rs 21.3 crore), Hindalco’s D Bhattacharya (Rs 19.5 crore), JSW Steel’s Sajjan Jindal (Rs 18.18 crore) and Amara Raja Batteries’ Jayadev Galla (Rs 17.23 crore).

Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani is ranked 15th with a remuneration of Rs 15 crore. His pay package remained unchanged in the last four years.
