5 Cops Killed in Naxal Attack in Bihar

At least five policemen, including three from the Special Auxillary Police Unit, were killed when the naxals launched a daring attack on them in Aurangabad, Biihar on Wednesday.

The deceased included two private security guards. The incident occurred in Goh area when around 50 armed naxals hurled bombs to destroy a culvert. A gunfight erupted immediately, resulting in the death of the cops.

A massive combing operation has been launched in the area with additional forces being rushed to the spot. The culvert suffered minor damages.
