TNI Bureau: As the magic of Anna Hazare is fading fast with less than impressive response to his agitations and fasts, the veteran anti-graft crusader has now decided to enter the political arena.

Anna has made it clear that he is going to launch a political outfit very soon, which will fight for the justice and people’s interest. Anna further said that he won’t fight the polls, but shortlist the candidates and campaign for them in 2014 polls.

Anna Hazare said that it would be his prerogative to have a non-Congress and non-BJP front, which can take up people’s case at all levels. As the fast at Jantar Mantar failed to evoke good response, yoga guru Baba Ramdev joined Team Anna at the fast venue to boost their morale.

Meanwhile, Team Anna member Kiran Bedi has accused the government of putting the pressure on all media houses to underplay the Lokpal agitation launched by Team Anna.

“There is a letter in writing from the government instructing media to underplay our agitation at Jantar Mantar as it is seen as a threat to its survival,” she told the reporters.
