1st COVID-19 +ve case in Kendrapara; Odisha Tally 40

TNI Bureau: A 32-year-old male from Kendrapara has been tested positive for Coronavirus. With this, the number of positive cases in Odisha has gone up to 40.

The man from Kendrapara had returned from Dubai on March 24.

Kendrapara #COVID19 patient belongs to Aul. He has been admitted to Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack. His family members are quarantined and being tested. Patient’s village & other areas in 3 km periphery have been sealed.

Currently, there are 38 active cases in Odisha – Bhubaneswar (30), Bhadrak (3), Cuttack (1), Puri (1), Jajpur (1), Kalahandi (1), Kendrapara (1). Two persons in Bhubaneswar have been cured and discharged.

322 samples have been tested in Odisha today – RMRC (261), AIIMS (36), SCB (25). In total, 2,210 samples have been tested in Odisha till date.
