Uddhav Thackeray appointed Saamna Editor

TNI Bureau: Late Balasaheb Thackeray’s son Uddhav Thackeray, who took the reigns of the party after the demise of his father, has been appointed as the Editor of Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ and ‘Dopahar Ka Saamana’.

Bal Thackeray edited both ‘Saamana’ and ‘Dopahar Ka Saamana’ till his death. Now, Uddhav will be in charge of editing of both newspapers. Marathi language paper ‘Saamna’ was founded by Balasaheb Thackeray on January 23, 1988. Similarly, Hindi tabloid ‘Dopahar Ka Saamana’ was founded on February 23, 1993.

Sanjay Raut (Saamana) and Prem Shukla (Dopahar Ka Saamana) will continue to manage the newspapers as Executive Editors.
