TNI Bureau: Veteran bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore on Thursday was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF).

Tagore thanked the jury members for bestowing her with this honour, while speaking at the opening ceremony of the Festival.

The actress also appreciated Rajasthan for its bonding with film industry.  “Forts, palaces and sand dunes of Rajasthan are always been a grandeurs of the Indian cinema,” Tagore said.

The 5th edition of the JIFF was inaugurated by the dream girl of bollywood, Hema Malini.

Over 200 films will be screened during the 5-day event.
