Odisha reports 21st COVID-19 +ve Patient – From Kalahandi

TNI Bureau: Out of 304 samples tested today in Odisha, one person tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of positive cases in the State to 21. This is the first Coronavirus case in Western Odisha.

The 29-year-old asymptomatic patient hails from Kahalandi district. He has a travel history to Bahrain. This is the first Coronavirus positive case found in non-coastal district. Earlier, Bhubaneswar had reported 14 cases followed by Bhadrak (3), Cuttack (1), Puri (1) and Jajpur (1).

Out of 304 samples tested today, 223 were done at RMRC, 38 at AIIMS and 43 at SCB. In total, 1,699 samples have been tested till date – 21 positive, 1,678 negative. 2 recovered and discharged.
