No Zero Night celebrations in Bhubaneswar this year

TNI Bureau:  The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday prohibited large social gatherings to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The BMC clarified that Zero Night celebration at hotels, clubs, convention halls and Kalyan mandaps has been prohibited in the areas coming under its jurisdiction. The BMC also requested it’s citizens to follow the COVID-19 Guidelines.

Following advisory/guidelines are issued by BMC:

1. Zero night Celebration at Hotels/Clubs/Convention Halls/Kalyan Mandaps etc. is prohibited.

2. Large Gatherings for zero night celebration at any other place is also not allowed.

3. Everyone is advised and requested to celebrate New Year with their family/friends/relatives at their private houses/establishments with adherence of COVID appropriate behaviour.
