TNI Bureau: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been elected as the BJD President for a record 5th time. He faced no competition or resistance from anybody in the party, where he rules the roost always.

After being elected as the BJD President, Naveen appointed the office-bearers, including 9 Vice Presidents, 10 General Secretaries and 10 Secretaries. Also, the BJD Executive was formed with 81 members. Four new Vice Presidents, five new General Secretaries and five Secretaries were inducted into Naveen’s team. Lal Bihari Himirika was appointed as the Treasurer.

AU Singhdeo, Damodar Rout, Prafulla Ghadei, Prasanna Acharya, Prasanna Kumar Patshani, Kalindi Behera, Kalpataru Das, Raghunath Mohanty, Surjya Narayan Patro.

List of General Secretaries:

Badri Narayan Patra,  Debashish Samantray, Nagendra Pradhan, Narendra Kumar Swain, Rabi Narayan Nanda, Arun Kumar Sahu, Debi Prasad Mishra, Padmanabha Behera, Rajendra Dholakia, Sarojini Hembram.

List of Secretaries:

Jhina Hikaka, Madan Mohan Pradhan, Mujibullah (Muna) Khan, Ramamurti Gamango, T. Gopi, Debendra Kanhar, Dr. Pradip Panigrahi, Premananda Nayak, Shesh Kumar Meher, Sushant Singh.

In the 81-member BJD Executive, 8 MPs, 41 MLAs and 32 other leaders have found a place.
