Mumbai became the first team to notch up 10 wins against an opposition in the ongoing IPL 6. The team defeated Kolkata 10 times in 12 matches in this tournament. On Tuesday, the team won by 65 runs.
This time, Sachin’s fans were not disappointed as the master blaster entertained them with wonderful blows at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium against Kolkata. Mumbai scored 170/6 (20.0 Ovs) after winning the toss. Dwayne Smith and Sachin did a very good opening and registered 47 and 48 respectively.
Chasing the target, Kolkata team were all out in 18.2 overs. Only Jacques Kallis made the highest run (24) in the team. Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell Johnson, Pragyan Ojha bowled very well and restricted the team to 105.
Sachin was the MoM for his knock of 48 off 28 balls.
