The first episode of KBC 6, aired on September 7 on Sony, registered a 6.1 television rating (TVR), which is the highest rating as compared to all shows. On the following day, it got 5.3 TVR.

The season 6 of KBC is gaining popularity day by day with powerful campaign ‘Sirf gyaan hi aapko aapka haq dilaata hai (Only knowledge gets you what you deserve)’.
The way Big B presents the show is praiseworthy and with recent TVR, it was proved that he is not only the ‘Shahenshah’ in Bollywood, but also a dominating personality in television industry.
No one has gained such popularity in the show since 2000 when he decided to appear on 25 mm screen reducing him from 70 mm frame.
