TNI Bureau: The Indian Para Athletes continued to shine at the ongoing Para Asian Game s being held at Hangzhou, the People’s Republic of China.

Till the end of the fourth day of the sporting event, India has secured the fifth position with a total medal of 34 which includes 9 golds, 12 silvers and 13 bronze medals at the Para Asian Game, which is slated to continue till October  28.

A total of 303 athletes – 191 men and 112 women –  are representing India in the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games. This is the largest contingent of the country to the continental event.

In 2018, India had sent 190 athletes and returned with 72 medals, including 15 gold.
