ICU Fire at Muzaffarpur Hospital Claims 10 Lives

TNI Bureau: At least 10 patients lost their lives after a massive fire broke out in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Prasad Hospital in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, on Thursday. Preliminary reports indicate that the blaze was triggered by a short circuit.

Firefighters rushed to the hospital and managed to bring the fire under control after a rescue operation. However, 10 patients reportedly died due to suffocation and severe burn injuries caused by the fire.

Several other patients sustained injuries in the incident and were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and assess whether any lapses in safety measures contributed to the tragedy.
