After the BJP in Odisha upped the ante and even filed FIR against CM Naveen Patnaik accusing him of hijacking the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department swung into action.
The Department has directed all District Collectors and Project Directors of DRDA to complete co-branding of all the PMAY (G) and BPGY houses by end of February 2021.
The revised design will contain both PMAY and BPGY logos. The co-branding will be undertaken in those houses completed after financial year 2014-15.
BJP had accused Odisha Government of misleading the people by hijacking the PMAY.
