TNI Bureau: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has taken immediate cognisance of a reported inhuman attack on an Odia youth in Tamil Nadu and expressed deep concern over the incident. Describing the assault on an innocent Odia youth as barbaric and highly condemnable, the Chief Minister said the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness by the Odisha government.

The state government is in constant touch with the Tamil Nadu administration to ensure all necessary steps are taken in the case. Arrangements are being made to provide the victim with the best possible medical treatment and required assistance. The authorities have also been urged to take strict action against those responsible for the attack.

“The safety and dignity of Odias are our top priorities. Our government is fully committed to ensuring the security of every Odia brother and sister working outside the state,” the Chief Minister said.
