TNI Bureau: The ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme was held at Shaheed Bhawan in Cuttack, bringing together students from various educational institutions. The campaign has been launched by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to address issues concerning students and their future.
Odisha Congress in-charge Lalji Desai, OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das, and co-in-charge Mayur Jaykumar addressed the gathering. They urged students to raise their voices for their rights and future and to pursue their demands through peaceful and democratic means. The leaders alleged that the BJP government was neglecting student interests and said students must speak up to safeguard their future.
They also said Rahul Gandhi had launched the campaign to listen to students’ concerns and assured that the Congress would continue to fight for issues affecting the student community. The programme was attended by campaign coordinator Koko Padhi, OPCC Social Media Chairman Biswajit Mohanty, Cuttack City Congress President Shantayan Mishra, student leaders Bibhuti Bhushan Mohapatra and Harishankar Madhi, along with several Congress workers and a large number of students.
