Insight Bureau: China reported two Covid deaths – 1st since January 2021, triggering panic in the country.

Both deaths were reported from Northeastern Jilin Province, brining Chinese Corona death toll to 4638.

China also reported 2,157 new Covid cases from community transmission on March 19 – most from Jilin Province.
