Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, who was recently appointed as the state unit President of the BJP in Odisha, was accorded with a hero’s welcome upon his arrival in Bhubaneswar. KV was taken from the Airport to the BJP office in a huge procession.

Never before such enthusiasm and jubilation were witnessed among the BJP cadres in the recent years. KV Singhdeo addressed a huge gathering of BJP cadres and leaders at the party office in Bhubaneswar and vowed to fight against the BJD and Congress at the same breath. He also said that Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik will face the fate of Madhu Koda someday because of his alleged involvement in mining scam.

KV Singhdeo will leave for his constituency Patnagarh tonight. He will return to Bhubaneswar on Friday and meet the Governor. Although KV Singhdeo ruled out any type of alliance with the BJD or OJM, it would be interesting to see what plans the central leaders have in mind while anointing him as the state unit President.
