TNI Bureau: The much hyped ‘Saifina’ wedding finally took place in Mumbai. Kareena Kapoor alias Bebo became Saif Ali Khan Pataudi’s begum following a registered marriage conducted at Saif’s residence in suburban Bandra. The wedding has put to an end the huge speculations about relation of the two celebs that reportedly started long five years back.
The marriage of Kareena and Saif, which has been described as the wedding of the year at the B-town was a registered marriage with three witnesses, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor, her mother Babita and Saif’s mother Sharmila, as per the marriage Registrar Surekha Ramesh, before whom the couple took the oath and executed the formalities.
42 year old Saif is the son of late Nawab of Pataudi and former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore. He was anointed the new Nawab of Pataudi after the death of his father.
32 year old Kareena Kapoor started her filmy career through ‘Refugee’ in the year 2000 and is successfully running her career as a female lead in Bollywood and so far presented several blockbusters including Bodyguard, 3 idiots, Jab we met and many more.

The just married ‘Safinaa’ couple started dating in 2007 but officially declared their intention to tie the knot in 2012 after the release of their film ‘Agent Vinod’ in March. However, they were silent for long, still it was unveiled by Saif’s mother Sharmila who came out with the October wedding date. They got married in the presence of close friends and family hours before, including Randhir Kapoor, Bebo’s father, her elder sis Karisma and others.
“Kareena wore a green salwar-kurta with a heavy embellished red dupatta wrapped around her. She teamed it up with minimal jewelry, red bangles and left her hair open. Saif, simply dressed in a grey kurta and white pajamas, came out with his new wife to greet fans from his balcony.” – reported Times of India.
The marriage was a low key affair but buzz suggests that a reception will be held tomorrow at a city hotel, which will be followed by another reception in Delhi on October 18 and a ceremony at Saif’s ancestral Pataudi Palace in Haryana.
The pair featured in the lead role for the first time together in the 2008 movie ‘Tashan’, followed by ‘Kurbaan’ and the latest of them was ‘Agent Vinod’.
