TNI Bureau: Another shocking incident occurred in the state capital less than a week after a 19-year-old melody dancer was gangraped. A minor girl was allegedly molested by three people in a moving auto and thrown out of the vehicle last night.
According to the FIR, the 17-year-old girl belongs to Patakura area of Kendrapada district. She hired an auto-rickshaw at Baramunda bus stand and moved for Master Canteen last night. However, three youths stopped the auto near the over bridge and molested her. Later, she was thrown out of the vehicle near Delta Square.
The victim was admitted to Capital hospital. The incident triggered shock and anger amongst the residents in Bhubaneswar.
Earlier, two gangrape cases have been reported so far. While the melody dancer was gangraped and dumped near Kalinga stadium last week, the melody dancer and a 24-year-old woman from Keonjhar was gangraped by three people.
While the nation is outraged over the gangrape of the 23-year-old para-medical student, who is fighting for life, two cases in Bhubaneswar less than a week showed the law and order failure and the duty of police is also questionable.
