TNI Bureau: Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray to win the Australian Open title for the third time in a row. This is the first time anybody has won the Australian Open title thrice consecutively.
Djokovic won the match 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2. It was also his 4th Australian Open title in total. Despite losing the first set, he bounced back to dash Murray’s hopes of winning the Australian Open title.
