IGT Winners Sonali and Sumanth Felicitated in Bhubaneswar

TNI Bureau: “India’s Got Talent Season 4” (IGT) winners and salsa dancers Maraju Sumanth and Sonali Mazumdar have been felicitated by the Government of Odisha and the East Cost Railway for their outstanding performances at the reality show. Earlier, they were given a warm welcome upon arrival at the Biju Patnaik Airport in Bhubaneswar and then taken in a procession.

While the winners were honoured by The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after their arrival on Tuesday at the state secretariat, the ECoR general manager Indra Ghosh felicitated them at Rail Sadan in Bhubaneswar. Their choreographer Bibhas Chowdhury was also present at the moment.

The duo expressed their interest to participate in international Salsa competitions abroad where they could showcase their talents. Appreciating the talented dancers, Mr Patnaik said, “I am happy that Sumanth is from Odisha”.

Maraju Sumanth (13) and Sonali Mazumdar (7) had stunned the juries at the reality show and bagged the prize at a glittering grand finale aired on Saturday on Colors channel. The little kids received a prize of Rs 50 lakh from Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. They also won a Maruti Alto 800 car.

When asked about their future goals, they said that they are going to perform duets together and they want to be world-class Salsa dancers. Two talents have not yet received any offer from Bollywood, but they are getting invitations for performing shows on stage from outside after winning the reality show.
