Baripada: A huge amount will be spent in tribal district of Mayaurbhanj for various developmental projects under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). District Collector Rajesh Pravakar Patil said here while reviewing the ongoing projects under the scheme.

Mr. Patil said that around Rs 250 crore will be spent on various projects such as agricultural and horticultural activities under MGNREGS by different departments.

He also reviewed Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) and “Mo Kudia” (My Hut) Yojana, which are the ongoing projects in the district. He urged the officials to complete those projects in time.
