Maharishi College NCC Officer bags Best ANO Odisha-2015 Award

Maharishi-College-NCC-Officer-bags-Best-ANO-Odisha-2015-Award-300x294On the eve of 67th NCC Day, Flying Officer Mihir Ranjan Saran of Maharishi College of Natural Law has been awarded best NCC Officer Odisha. The NCC Day was organised at the college premises here on November 22.

On this occasion his Excellency Governor of Odisha Dr S C Jamir has decorated flying officer Mihir Saran with commendation and certificate of appreciation for his outstanding contribution and professional skill displayed by him, which has brought laurel to the state of odisha.

Flying officer saran a young dynamic officer of NCC, AIR Wing who also doubles as a professor of physics has shown high level of leadership to lead the Odisha contingent to a prestigious position at all India Vayu sainik camp and had own many medals, reaching runners up position in Republic Day Celebrations in New Delhi.

He has established the Dare Devils Team which is not only the major attraction in the Republic Day and Independence Day Parade, where the girls Dare Devils team is first of its kind in India. They have also taken part in various social awareness programme like road safety awareness child labour problem cancer awareness etc.

He has also been awarded “Prakruti Mitra” for preserving the ecosystem by Forest and Environment Department of Odisha government. Besides, he was also awarded Best Dare Devil Master Award, Duradarshi Krida Sanmana and Odisha Mirror award.

He has dedicated this award to all the cadets of NCC and well wishers and vow to work for the betterment of the human society as a whole and India in particular.
