POSCO-India contributes Rs 1 crore to CM’s Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar, October 28, 2013: The POSCO INDIA has contributed Rs. 1 Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) towards restoration & Relief measure.
Extending support, Mr. Y W Yoon, CMD, POSCO INDIA today handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore to the CMRF, Government of Odisha, towards restoration and relief measures for the recent cyclone and subsequent flood-affected people in Odisha.

POSCO-IndiaThe cheque was formally handed over to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat by Mr. Y. W. Yoon, CMD, POSCO INDIA Pvt. Ltd.

It may be noted that POSCO India has proposed to set up its mega steel project near Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha. POSCO INDIA also plans to undertake certain relief and restoration work in and around its project area in Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha.
