The Trinidad & Tobago began their CLT20 campaign on a high, as they registered a 25-run victory in a low scoring match against the Brisbane Heat. The match witnessed great contest between the bat and ball throughout.
Earlier, Brisbane won the toss and elected to field first. Trinidad & Tobago scored 135/9 in 20 overs. Denesh Ramdin was the top scorer with 48 on this difficult pitch of Ranchi. Alister McDermott took four wickets.
In reply, Brisbane Heat bowled out for just 110 in 18.4 overs. Joe Burns scored 45. Ravi Rampaul took four wickets, while Rayad Emrit and Sunil Narine took two wickets each. Denesh Ramdin was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
