Popular game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC) is back with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as its Host. The seventh edition of the show began yesterday with excellent performance by singer Sonu Nigam, who belted out some hit numbers.
The audiences were eagerly waiting for the evening to watch the opening show of the Kaun Banega Crorepati 7 (KBC 7), which is bigger this time. The set has also been changed and the stage will be a multimedia rectangular with LED lights. The contestants will have to answer 15 questions to win the jackpot prize Rs. 7 crore, a huge amount than previous seasons.

There will be four questions in the new feature “Sapta koti sandook” in which the contestants will win amount from Rs 1 crore to Rs 3 crore, Rs 5 crore and finally Rs 7 crore.
This time, the ‘Fastest finger first’ round has been modified. Now, it is called ‘Best out of three’. The contestants can use five lifelines instead of four to reach closer to the prize money. While “audience poll” and “phone a friend” continue as lifelines, “flip the question” returns in place of “ask the expert”, “50:50” has replaced “double dip”. The last lifeline is “power paplu” that will help the contestants to revive any used lifeline.
