TNI Bureau: Karbonn launched the Smart Tab I tablet, an Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’ device on Friday in India. It is a budget tablet with a price of Rs. 6, 990   that incorporates MIPS-Based JZ4770 SoC from Ingenic as its running core.

The tablet runs on a 1.2GHz processor and is equipped with a 17.8 cm 5-point touch screen, powered by a 3,700 mAh battery. The device also features a 3D gravity sensor, Wi-Fi and 3G support through USB dongle. It has a 2MP front camera and pre-embedded applications such as the Karbonn Smart Browser and Karbonn Smart games and local apps.

As per the company, the tablet will be available via the Karbonn website, as well as many other online shopping portals and retail outlets across India soon.
