TNI Bureau: Odia film Lahari has won the Best Odia Feature Film award at the 72nd National Film Awards, the winners of which were announced at the National Media Centre in New Delhi.

Directed by Amartya Bhattacharya and produced by Jhilik Bhattacharjee, Lahari is based on the bond between a father and son and highlights the values of social life. The film portrays both joyful and emotional moments while reflecting the ups and downs of real life.
The award is a major achievement for the Odia film industry. Lahari had earlier received appreciation after being screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival and the Melbourne Film Festival.
