TNI Bureau: The Odisha Cabinet has approved the extension of the Mid-Day Meal scheme to students of Classes 9 and 10 for the next five years, widening its coverage beyond Class 8.

The move will benefit over 57 lakh students across the state, with the government earmarking ₹4,224 crore for its implementation.
