UFBU postpones Proposed Bank Strike on March 24-25

TNI Bureau: The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has postponed its proposed strike on March 24-25 by one to two months following positive discussions on key demands, including a five-day work week.

The decision came after a conciliation meeting with the Indian Banks’ Association and the Finance Ministry. The next round of talks is scheduled for April, with the Central Labour Commissioner monitoring the developments.
