TNI Bureau: Out of the 4 Coronavirus positive cases detected in Odisha yesterday, one is from Kendrapara. It was confirmed by District Collector Samarth Verma.

The female patient from Rajnagar area in Kendrapara has a travel history to outside the state. She was under home quarantine. According to local media reports, she is a 17-year-old girl. She and her father, a plumber had returned from Kolkata recently.
Contact tracing is underway in her case. Two villages (including a hamlet) linked to the patient have been sealed.
With this, number of COVID-19 positive cases in Kendrapara has gone up to 2. Earlier, another person with travel history to Dubai, was tested positive in the district.
